The Combination of Passport No, Country and DOB Not Found

When vSure cannot find the provided details in the home affairs database, the 2 most common reasons:

1. An error in one of these four fields:
   1. Document Type (e.g. Immicard instead of Passport)
   2. Passport Country
   3. Passport Number
   4. Date Of Birth
2. The person has a new passport and has not yet updated Home Affairs and switched their visa over

Edit in review stage

When reviewing you may notice an error in the data. At the bottom of the Review screen is the Edit button

vSure automatically rechecks the visa with the new data when you save the edits.

 

Send message to candidate / employee to update Home Affairs

A common reason for correct data not showing a visa is the fact that the Passport is new and the employee/candidate has not yet informed Home Affairs and had their visa swapped from their old passport.

Check whether the passport issue date is recent. If it is, you can send a note to the employee to update home affairs. Passports that error will show a button at the top "Send Link To Update Home Affairs":

Simply click the button / adjust the message if/as appropriate and hit send.
