Given the sensitive nature of the data we hold, platform security and data protection is the highest priority at vSure.

You can rest assured that the vSure platform as well as our API and internal policies and procedures have passed some of the most intense and comprehensive due diligence processes by some of Australia's most well-known companies and some of the world's largest brands.

vSure is ISO 27001:2022 certified - the global standard for Information Security Management. 

Your personally identifiable data is safe:

• vSure will only store copies of the documents for 3 months by default (though your employer has the right to request data retention for up to 7 years to meet Employer Audit rules)
• The documents requested from employees are for organisations to meet its compliance obligations with regards to the Australian Department of Home Affairs work rights legislation
• vSure leverage industry best practice through our usage of Amazon Web Services
• vSure have a Web Application Firewall in place via CloudFlare
• vSure is regularly audited by global cyber security experts Foregenix (our last audit was October 2023)
• We are also regularly audited by our clients and prospective clients
• All data in transit is encrypted using SHA 256 https protocol
• Data at rest is encrypted at field level within the database
• Documents are double encrypted, using our own encryption process and Amazon Web Services S3 bucket encryption
