Hi Team
We are implementing a new compliance platform called vSure.
Employment laws dictate that all employers in Australia have the obligation to check and monitor employee work rights. This means validating proof of citizenship, or in the case on non-citizens, regularly checking visa status.
vSure is the leading software company in Australia focused on streamlining this compliance obligation for employers. They are widely used by the who’s who of Australia’s largest employers, including well-known brands like ALDI, H&M, Uniqlo and many within the hospitality industry.
Due to the sensitive nature of the data they collect, vSure undergoes rigorous and regular cyber security audits and follows bank grade, industry best practice on data security and encryption.
What does this mean for you?
As part of the roll out of the system, we want to collate and update our proof of work rights records with regards to our existing workforce, which you are a part.
Soon you will receive an email and/or SMS from our team using the vSure software to provide your proof of work rights documents.
If you are an Australian citizen this means uploading:
- Australian Passport; OR
- Australian Birth Certificate + Photo ID (and possibly change of name documentation if your name is different to your birth certificate); or
- Australian Citizenship Certificate + Photo ID;
If you are NOT an Australian citizen, we require a copy of your Passport or Immicard.
Student Visa holders will also be asked to supply their Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) letter as well as course information and evidence of your term dates. Secondary student visa holders will be asked for Proof Of Relationship documentation.
