MFA
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is the industry benchmark in security of modern web-applications. MFA is simply adding another "factor" beyond username and password to validate your access. This adds an additional layer of security and stops the most common form of hacking.
vSure accomodates a raft of modern MFA options beyond SMS and Email, including Passkeys and Authenticator apps. When you login for the first time, it will prompt you to set one of these up.
The MFA requirement is triggered by:
- Logging in from a different computer/network;
- Every 30 days;
Meaning if the user uses the same computer and network every day to access vSure, they'll only be asked for the MFA once every 30 days.
