White-label level users sit above all sub-accounts (called Accounts in vSure and can be used as clients, stores, venues, regions etc). These users can access all sub-accounts, but can choose which accounts they subscribe to (for the automated Alerts reports).
For example, User A might subscribe to none of the client reports, User B to 20 which they support and User C to all 75 sub-accounts.
vSure security is based on having access to:
- one account only (e.g. a client or staff member of specific branch); OR
- all accounts (e.g. head office staff).
The workflow is the White-Label users are only ever set-up at White-label level (with access to all accounts) OR account level. You cannot be set-up multiple times. You cannot have access to more than one account, without having access to all.
1. Users
An admin level user logs in to vSure and navigates to the top level "Users" tab.
2. Add New
3. Enter staff details
Email address is compulsory and critical and MUST be unique (not already set-up elsewhere in vSure. If you need to move an Account level user to your White-Label level, please "Submit Request" at the top of this page).
Phone: If you have enabled 2 Factor Authentication, we strongly recommend adding the users mobile number.
Usertype: User = cannot change My Account settings nor add users at White-label level (can at client/account level). Admin = full access at all levels.
Expiry Date: Can be used to manage IT security protocols or temporary staff access. Otherwise just leave blank for no expiry.
Hit the Save button to add the User and push a Verification Link to the users listed email address.
The user must set their own password by getting this email and clicking on the link.
4. Specify sub-account access
If you set up a "User" (rather than an "Admin"), you can then specify which sub-accounts the users has access to. They will have NONE by default.
NOTE - you may need to switch to the InActives tab (until the user has verified their access) to modify the user account.
Then click on the user to open up the sub-account access section:
On the right, simply click the sub-account to provide access (blue) or remove access (grey).
Then select Save.
