Over the weekend a new batch of features went live with vSure, focused on improving and further automating the self-onboarding process. Here's a summary: |
VEVO results now show in self-onboarding ReviewWe flagged this last month when we started to colour code the Review list. Now the VEVO result (for non-citizens) will show in the review screen at the top: |
Data cross-validated and variances highlightedvSure will now cross validate data submitted via Self-Onboarding. The first cross-matches we have build include:
How it works:Review List has new "Flag" column and will show a ! to highlight variance: |
Note also from the above, there now is the ability via a new button under the Actions heading to "Discard" a Review.
The Review screen then highlights variances with RED text The example below is the OCR read "Jane" from the passport but the candidate submitted their Given Name as "Jan": |
Passport now first option for Australian CitizensUntil now, the three options for proof of citizenship have been:
The easiest means of confirming Australian citizenship is an Australian Passport, so we've moved it to the top (swapped positions 1 and 3).
On a smartphone this should mean it gets the most use, meaning less steps for the candidate AND the highest confidence in Australian Citizenship (theoretically someone born on or after 20th of August 1986 can have an Australian birth certificate and NOT be an Australian citizen. We note there is no mention of this date or rule in the Work Right legislation, nor do we believe it is relevant given the "reasonable steps" specified in the legislation and the fact Home Affairs specifically mentions "Birth Certificate + Photo ID" as a proof of work rights. But some clients are conscious of this anomaly). |
